Warner Robins police: 19-year-old hospitalized after accidental self-inflicted shooting
Police say the gun discharged while the victim was adjusting his pants.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 19-year-old man was hospitalized Wednesday night after police say he suffered an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound in a parking lot along Highway 96.
According to a Warner Robins Police Department news release, officers were called to a business located at 1104 Highway 96 in Warner Robins just after 5:30 in reference to a reported gunshot wound. When officers got there, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his hip.
According to investigators, the victim and another person were exiting a vehicle when the victim, who had a firearm in his waistband, attempted to adjust his pants. Police say the firearm discharged during that movement.
