Warming continues this weekend

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will reach the 50s across the region both days this weekend.
This Evening
A mostly sunny day will give way to clear skies overnight as temperatures again will plummet. It will be below freezing ahead of midnight with overall lows expected to be around the 20 degree mark to begin Saturday. Wind will be gentle as it flows from the northwest. Dripping the faucets would be a good idea to avoid plumbing disasters.
Tomorrow
It will be another mostly sunny day across Middle Georgia with highs that largely reach the lower 50s. Wind will be light and variable in the morning, however by or shortly after lunchtime it will be out of the south-southwest around 5 mph.
Overnight expect cloud cover to begin to return as the wind flows from the west-southwest around 5 mph. Temperatures will bottom out in the mid to upper 20s, so dripping the faucet is suggested again.
Sunday
Mostly cloudy conditions are likely Sunday with highs mainly in the mid to upper 50s. Wind will flow from the west at around 5 mph. Overnight will be overcast with the possibility for a few showers. Low temperatures will finally be above freezing heading into the new week.
