It is First Friday in Middle Georgia and the weather is overall pleasant save for excess cloud cover. Temperatures will remain in the 60s through the late evening, and some spots may not drop below 60 degrees at all tonight. Most of the lows, however, will be in the upper 50s. Light and variable winds under partly cloudy skies will likely lead to fog heading into the start of Saturday.

Saturday

A foggy start to the day is expected courtesy of calm winds and high relative humidity. This will lift as temperatures warm into the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s across Middle Georgia. Expect the wind to pick up as well as it flows from the southwest at 5-12 mph, gusting to about 20 mph. While unlikely, a stray shower or two cannot be ruled out in the afternoon or evening.

Overnight will start off relatively clear, however fog will be possible again ahead of Sunday morning as the wind slows overnight. It will remain out of the southwest at around 5-10 mph. Temperatures will largely only dip into the lower 60s.

Sunday and Beyond

Sunday will be a cloudier day than Saturday and as a result likely a couple of degrees cooler in the afternoon. The warmest spots should still eclipse 80 degrees, however. Shower odds will be slightly higher than Saturday, however the overall odds for Middle Georgia remain low. Wind will generally flow from the west at 5-12 mph.

Conditions will stay warm and cloudy into next week as rain chances will gradually climb.
