Warm and muggy conditions stay for Halloween night and into November

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – There will be no chills in Middle Georgia tonight as temperatures stay well above average.
This Evening
Trick or Treat will begin soon. Temperatures will largely hover around the 80 degree mark as it begins, dropping into the upper 60s by the time the late stragglers are wrapping up. Skies overhead should feature scattered clouds. A stray shower is unlikely but cannot 100% be ruled out. Wind will continue out of the southeast at around 5 mph as temperatures bottom out in the mid to upper 50s.
Tomorrow
The first day of November is also First Friday for Middle Georgia. It will be very warm compared to average as highs push into the low to mid 80s around the region under partly cloudy skies. The usual highs of early November are in the low to mid 70s. Wind will be light and variable. A stray shower or two will be possible in the afternoon and evening as a bit more clouds fill in.
Expect partly cloudy skies overnight tomorrow and into Saturday as temperatures drop to around 60 degrees. Wind will flow from the east-southeast at around 5 mph.
This Weekend
Saturday will be partly cloudy and Sunday mostly cloudy with a temperature drop of 5-7 degrees expected between the two afternoons. A few showers will also be possible on Sunday. Clocks will need to be set back Sunday as well as Daylight Savings ends at 2 AM Sunday morning.
The Tropics
There are now two areas of interest in the Atlantic Basin. The first is the one that has been discussed recently to the south of Cuba and Jamaica. It has 60% odds to develop into a depression in the next 7 days. It is also now uncertain as to which direction it will go should it form. The second is over the northern Leeward Islands. It has a 10% chance to develop and is expected to track west-northwest.
