Volunteers clean up to Keep Warner Robins Beautiful

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bay Gall Creek in Warner Robins is cleaner, thanks to some volunteers donating their time, Saturday.

   Their effort is part of a statewide campaign to clean and preserve 70,000 miles of rivers and streams.
   More than 20 students from Georgia Military College picked up trash and debris while cleaning the dry creek bed.
   Cheryl Taylor has been a Keep Warner Robins Beautiful board member for 25 years. She joined more than 80 volunteers to clean the creek on Wellston Trail.

   “I’m really thrilled to see people out here,” says Taylor. “Especially the young people who are interested in maintaining a beautiful Warner Robins.”

   This is the fifth year Keep Warner Robins Beautiful organization has used volunteers to clean Bay Gall Creek, she said
