Vineville Academy PTO treasurer arrested for stealing school funds

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Vineville Academy PTO treasurer is behind bars for allegedly stealing fund from the school.

According to a Bibb County Campus Police report, Eloise Maxine Reid wrote multiple check over the last several months to her business Divine Business Solutions Services.

The status of the school’s account was brought to Vineville’s Principal Kristy Graham, when she was contacted by Certus Bank regarding a bounced check.

There was under $1,000 in the PTO account that should have had at least $35,000.

Current PTO President and former Treasurer Sherita Hicks say she and Reid were the only two who could write or sign checks.

Reid is in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center charged with theft by taking.
