Veterans volleyball player chooses Alabama college

KATHLEEN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Emily Osborn, a senior volleyball player at Veterans High School, will head west to Alabama for college.

She signed this week with Southern Union State Community College in Opelika.

Osborn and the Warhawks (39-3) advanced to the state Sweet Sixteen this year. Playing as an outside hitter, she had 149 kills, 52 assists and 52 aces.

Veterans won the area for the second year in a row and finished undefeated at home.
