Very warm conditions likely Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –
This Evening
Clear skies from this afternoon will stay that way into tonight as temperatures fall from the 70s into the 50s and eventually 40s by tomorrow morning. While overhead skies stay clear, however, some fog is likely ahead of tomorrow. Wind will be gentle overnight from the southwest.
Tomorrow
Tuesday will be a very warm and mostly sunny day as temperatures largely reach the upper 70s around the region. The warmest spots will likely eclipse 80 degrees. Wind will be light and variable thanks to a weak frontal system stalling just to the north.
Overnight will be a lot cloudier as things get muggier with the wind staying light and variable. Fog will again be likely overnight and into the start of Wednesday. It will be a much warmer night as well with lows in the mid to upper 50s. The warmest spots may stay above 60 degrees.
Wednesday and Beyond
Conditions will be more muggy and cloudy over the back half of the week as isolated showers become possible in the afternoons and evenings. Highs will stay in the 70s with overnight lows staying in the 50s and 60s, or close to 20 degrees above normal for this time of year.
