UPDATE: Joshua Williams has been located and is safe with his family, according to an update from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man.

Deputies say 38-year-old Joshua Williams was reported missing Tuesday morning by family members.

According to investigators, Williams was last seen around 6 a.m. in the 3500 block of McKenzie Drive. That’s in the Payne City area.

Williams is described about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs between 120 and 150 pounds. Family members say he is autistic and non-verbal.

He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, blue slacks and a black hat.
