UPDATED: Two suspects arrested in connection to a tractor that was stolen from construction site in Warner Robins
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men have been arrested in connection to a tractor that was stolen in Warner Robins.
We’re told 47-year-old William Kay Jones is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property and 29-year-old Joseph Seth Sheriff is charged with felony theft by taking.
Both are still in jail. Jones’ bond is $50,000 and Sheriff’s bond is $1,100.
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A tractor was stolen from a construction site near the intersection of Taylor Elaine Road and Mia Rae Court.
Warner Robins Police say the equipment was taken sometime between November 27-30.
A driver reported seeing the missing Kubota Tractor heading south on Highway 247 on Monday. Houston County Sheriff’s deputies responded and stopped the suspected vehicle.
The passenger in the car was taken into custody, but the driver of the vehicle fled. After searching for several hours, the suspect was located. Both are in custody and are being interviewed.
