UPDATE: Waynesboro man dies in Baldwin County tractor-trailer accident

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Waynesboro man died during a tractor-trailer accident Tuesday morning in Baldwin County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, 40-year-old William Cribb was driving a 2012 Nissan Titan pickup and towing a utility trailer westbound on SR 22 toward Milledgeville around 11 a.m. GSP tells 41NBC Cribb was in the center turn lane, then crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a Volvo tractor-trailer driven by 46-year-old Anthony Bradley head on.

After crashing into the tractor-trailer, Cribb’s truck flipped onto its side and the utility trailer disconnected. It hit a Chevrolet Impala that was driving westbound in the outside lane of SR 22. Two people were inside the vehicle: 46-year-old Michelle Loehne and 50-year-old Barbara Woolard.

GSP says Cribb was pronounced dead on the scene.

The other victims were injured and sent to a local hospital.


MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One person is dead after a traffic accident involving an 18-wheeler tractor trailer and two other vehicles in Milledgeville.

Baldwin County Coroner Ken Garland says it happened at 10:55 a.m. on Georgia Highway 22.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
