UPDATE: Victims Identified in Houston County Double Murder

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – UPDATED: Houston County deputies have identified the victims in Sunday’s double homicide. They are 30-year-old Shaland McConnell and 32-year-old Ruben Miranda, both of Jonesboro.

Investigators say neither of them had identification when their bodies were found in a wooded area off North Houston Lake Road Monday. Deputies say the two were shot to death at a home on Chadwick Road Sunday.

A third suspect has been arrested in connection to that crime. Around 1 am Wednesday, deputies arrested 20-year-old Justice Bernard Evans of Macon. He is charged with two counts of murder, two counts of concealing the death of another and one count of tampering with evidence.
