UPDATE: Two arrests made in Macon motel meth operation
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two Macon men were arrested in connection to a meth lab found in a room at Bridgeview Inn & Suites.
Investigators responded to the motel off Harrison Road around 11:30 Sunday night. The site was temporarily evacuated as investigators checked out the room in question.
Three people found inside the room were taken into custody for questioning.
Deputies arrested 49-year-old Andrew Hopper. He‘s charged with one count of manufacture or possession of chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.
Authorities also arrested 29-year-old Clyde Douglass Dupree Jr. He is charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Both Hopper and Dupree are booked in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. No bond has been set for both men..
