UPDATE: Third arrest made in connection with 2024 shooting on Holland Drive
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says Johnquavis Leonardo Rutledge, Jamarion Pennymon, and Cris Yair Blanco are now in custody in connection with Gabreon Tyrese Harrison's death.

UPDATE (3/14/2025): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a third person is now in custody in connection with the death of 20-year-old Gabreon Tyrese Harrison.
According to a news release, Johnquavis Leonardo Rutledge was arrested at 1:24 p.m. on March 12, 2025 within the 300 block of Pursley Street
Rutledge attempted to flee on foot, but he was apprehended. The Sheriff’s Office says that Rutledge sustained a leg injury and was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
Rutledge has been charged with murder and is currently being held without bond.
UPDATE (8/8): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a second person is now in custody in connection with the death of 20-year-old Gabreon Tyrese Harrison.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, 17-year-old Jamarion Pennymon was taken into a custody at a home on Fairfax Drive. He was taken to the Bibb Count Jail and is charged with murder. He’s being held without bond.

UPDATE (8/5): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Cris Yair Blanco is now in custody in connection with Gabreon Tyrese Harrison’s death.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Blanco contacted investigators about turning himself in. He was then interviewed before being taken to the Bibb County Jail. He’s charged with murder and is being held without bond.

UPDATE (8/1) – The victim of a shooting on Holland Drive has died from his injuries.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Gabreon Tyrese Harrison was declared dead Thursday by Coroner Leon Jones. Next of kin has been notified.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating shooting that happened Thursday morning in the 2400 block of Holland Drive.
A call was made to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center reporting the incident at 10:18 a.m.
Deputies arrived at the scene to find a 20-year-old man who had been shot. Paramedics were called to the location and took the victim to a medical facility, where he is listed in critical condition. No one else injured.
The shooting remains under investigation.
