UPDATE: Suspects in custody after fleeing from crash scene following Laurens County chase
Two males fled on foot after a high-speed chase ended in a crash near Dublin-Eastman Road in Dexter.

UPDATE: Both suspects are now in custody, according to an update from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.

DEXTER, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Law enforcement agencies are searching for two men who ran from a crash scene Friday night in Laurens County after a high-speed chase, according to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, Georgia State Patrol troopers attempted to stop a vehicle on Interstate 16 just before 7 p.m. The driver didn’t pull over and fled, leading law enforcement on a chase that ended when the vehicle crashed near the intersection of Dublin-Eastman Road and Taylor-Rowland Road in Dexter.
After the crash, two males wearing white shirts and gray pants ran from the scene.
“This is an active and on-going investigation,” a sheriff’s office Facebook post said.
