UPDATE: Surveillance videos released of Wal-Mart vandalism

MACON, Georgia (41NBC?WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video of Sunday morning’s vandalism at Wal-Mart on Zebulon Road.

According to an incident report, 40 to 50 teens entered the store and began destroying displays and merchandise.

An employee said, arrested teen Kharron Green told him the event was planned and the teens wanted to see how many items they could damage.

Green is in the Bibb County jail with an $11,200 bond. He’s charged with criminal street gang activity, inciting a riot and criminal damage to property.


MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb deputies are looking for teenagers who vandalized the Walmart on Zebulon Road Sunday morning.

It happened at around 2 o’clock. Store employees say a group of teens ran through the aisles pulling items off the shelves and caused more than $2,000 in damages.

Deputies arrested 17 year-old Kharron Green after he went back to the store to get his cellphone. He’s charged with criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree and inciting a riot. He was released on a $3,700 bond.
