UPDATE: Shots fired near Shurling Drive, Bibb deputies investigating

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County investigators are looking for 19-year-old Amond Rashad Norwood for his involvement in a shooting incident that happened on Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the incident at 1935 Pine Hill Drive, near Shurling Drive.  

According to a news release, a fight broke out between 20-year-old Chavis Stokes and Norwood before shots were fired. Stokes brother, 23-year-old Deangelo Stokes was at the home during the time of the incident, but was not involved in the fight.

After the argument, Norwood left the home on Pine Hill Drive and returned with a gun.

Norwood began shooting at the home with bullets piercing through the front windows. 

Deangelo Stokes ran out of the home, and shot back at Norwood. Deputies say during the incident Stokes broke his leg in the process.

Stokes was taken to the Medical Center for treatment.

Deputies say Norwood took off in a black 4-door Honda.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
