UPDATE: Pedestrian in stable condition after being hit in Forsyth

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon at the intersection of W Main Street and N Lee Street in Forsyth, according to a news release from the Forsyth Police Department.

UPDATE (7 p.m.): Georgia State Patrol says the person was struck by a pickup truck coming off Lee Street attempting to turn left onto Main Street. The pedestrian is in stable condition at a local hospital.


FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon at the intersection of W Main Street and N Lee Street in Forsyth, according to a news release from the Forsyth Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene at 1:57 p.m.

The Forsyth Police Department says the case has been transferred to the Georgia State Patrol for further investigation.
