UPDATE: Missing West Bibb County Man Found

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A missing man from west Bibb County returned home safe Saturday morning.

Authorities say 29-year-old Donald Meeks, Jr. returned to a family member’s home on Dixon Road around 9 a.m. He told deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office that he had “gotten lost and was finally able to find his way to his family’s house.”

Meeks was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment to injuries from exposure to the elements. He is listed in stable condition.
