UPDATE: Missing Baldwin County man found safe

UPDATE: Thompkins has been found safe, according to Baldwin County deputies.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing man last seen Friday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office, 64-year-old Johnny K. Thompkins was last seen around 5 p.m. in the Bentley Drive area off Highway 212 in Baldwin County.

Thompkins is about 5’8” and weighs around 145 pounds. Deputies say he may be wearing an orange long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
