Warner Robins Police say the man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run last month is now in custody.

UPDATE (4/23/24): Warner Robins Police say the man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run last month is now in custody.
According to a news release, Dustin Nelson turned himself in around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.
“He is being processed on warrants for felony hit and run and failure to report an accident with injury,” the release stated.
UPDATE (4/12/24): The Warner Robins Police Department says it’s identified the driver wanted in connection with the hit-and-run that happened on March 30.
According to a news release sent Friday afternoon, police located the vehicle on April 5 in Macon and determined the driver to be Dustin Nelson.
Police say he has active warrants.

According to police, the victim was in critical condition at the hospital after the crash but has been upgraded to stable condition.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Warner Robins Police Department (WRPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run incident.
According to a BOLO issued by the department on Facebook, it happened on Saturday, March 30. Police did not release the exact time or location of the collision, but we have reached out for clarification.
Police say the vehicle is believed to be either a 2020 or 2021 silver Subaru Impreza Sport with damage to the driver’s side front end and driver’s side mirror.
