UPDATE: Man identified after fatal head-on collision on Tucker Road
A man is dead after a head-on collision near the intersection of Tucker Road and Foster Road Tuesday afternoon.
UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who died as 66-year-old Robert Wayne Howard.
UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has corrected the victim’s age; he was 66 years old, not 58 as originally reported.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after a head-on collision near the intersection of Tucker Road and Foster Road Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, the call came in to the Macon-Bibb E911 Center just after 2 p.m.
Deputies say they arrived and found a 58-year-old man unresponsive. Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones pronounced him dead on the scene. A second motorist, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The man’s name has not been released, pending notification of his family.
