UPDATE (2/7): The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says Horace Kennedy was found safe in Union County.

SPARTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies are looking for a missing man who was last seen by family members on Saturday, January 27.

Deputies say 67-year-old Horace Kennedy was last seen on Lake Sinclair Drive in Sparta.

He’s about 5’4″ and weighs 140 pounds.

Deputies say the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia State Patrol, Milledgeville Police and Baldwin County deputies are assisting in the search.
