UPDATE: Escaped Washington County inmate in custody
George Vincent is now in custody.

UPDATE (4:46 P.M.): George Vincent is now in custody. “We want to thank all the agencies that quickly assisted in this matter,” Sheriff Joel Cochran wrote in a Facebook post.
ORIGINAL POST (3:41 P.M.):
SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Law enforcement officials are searching for an inmate who escaped from Washington County Hospital while receiving treatment on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the inmate, 49-year-old George Vincent, has blue eyes and brown hair. He is 5’6″ and weighs 120 pounds.
Deputies are focusing their search efforts in the area surrounding Washington County Hospital. The sheriff’s office says anyone who may have information should call 911.
According to Washington County Jail records, Vincent is from Bloomingdale in Chatham County and has been in jail since July 11. He’s charged with criminal trespass and crossing state/county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, drugs without consent.
