Three people are now in custody in connection with an exchange of gunfire at a Lowe's in Macon last month.

UPDATE (3/4/25): Three people are now in custody in connection with an exchange of gunfire at a Lowe’s in Macon last month.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, 27-year-old Jamarcus Dshawn Battle was taken into custody on Interstate 75 North around 5:30 on Monday. He was wanted for aggravated assault in connection with a shooting that happened on February 5 at Lowe’s, located at 6011 Zebulon Road.
Deputies took him to the Bibb County Jail. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. His bond has been denied.
Two other people were previously arrested, according to deputies. 36-year-old Jevaughn Najee Ladson and 49-year-old Accra Jabbar Ingram were taken into custody in the 1900 block of Gray Highway about three hours after the shots were fired, deputies revealed Tuesday.
Ladson faces multiple charges, including two counts of felony theft by shoplifting, misdemeanor theft by shoplifting, driving while license suspended, driving under the influence, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation. Deputies say he was also wanted in Houston County and by Snellville Police. His bond is set at $19,305.
Ingram is charged with felony theft by shoplifting, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bond is set at $15,840.
Deputies say they recovered firearms from both Ladson and Ingram. They were secured in the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people exchanged gunfire in the parking lot of Lowe’s on Zebulon Road on Wednesday.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, the incident was called into the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 11:46 a.m.
Deputies say they responded to investigate reports of shots fired in the area. Witnesses told them that “there was an exchange of gunfire between two males in the parking lot.”
No injuries or property damage was reported, and no arrests have been made. The sheriff’s office said additional information would be provided as it becomes available. We’ve also reached out to Lowe’s corporate.
41NBC’s Monica Diaz-Meek said deputies were leaving the scene around 1:30 p.m.
