MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a missing man.

Deputies say 53-year-old Jarvis Montaque Sams was last seen by family members on February 10. Family members told deputies they became concerned after visiting his home and not finding him there.

“Family stated that Sams has been diagnosed with several mental health issues and may need medical attention,” a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release stated.

Sams is about 5’6″ and weighs about 200 pounds. Family members say he’s known to frequent the Napier Avenue area.
