UPDATE: Bibb deputies make arrest in connection with Dollar General armed robbery
Deputies say 26-year-old Diamond Robinson of Macon was taken into custody Friday in connection with Thursday's armed robbery.

UPDATE (11/22/24 – 4:31 p.m.): Deputies say 26-year-old Diamond Robinson of Macon was taken into custody Friday in connection with Thursday’s armed robbery.
According to a news release, she was arrested on Goodwin Drive.
She’s charged with aggravated assault, two counts of kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and armed robbery.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect connected to a commercial armed robbery on Thursday night.
The robbery happened at the Dollar General, which is located at 4471 Jeffersonville Road.
The suspect, who is possibly a female, entered the store brandishing a firearm, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect approached the store clerk and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store.
The suspect was wearing camouflage clothing, black mask, and black gloves.
