Bibb County deputies say an 8-year-old reported missing Thursday has been found safe and is reunited with his family.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office needs help finding a missing 8-year-old boy.

Deputies say they were called to a home in the 4100 block of Brookdale Avenue just after 6 p.m. Thursday in reference to a missing child.

Deputies were told the child got off the bus at his stop in the afternoon and that neighbors last saw him playing with other children in the neighborhood just after 4 p.m.

The sheriff’s office says it was notified when he did not return home.

His name is Ron Rico Lashane Kelly Jr. He’s about 3’11 and weighs about 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a burgundy shirt, black pants, black and white Jordan sneakers and a black and white jacket.
