MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 32-year-old woman is in the hospital after being shot in the upper body Wednesday night.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says it happened at a home on Fair Street near Mumford Road just before 6 p.m.
Deputies were told the woman was shot during an altercation when “an unknown subject started firing a gun.”
She was taken to Atrium Health Navicent and is listed in critical condition.
There’s no suspect information, and the investigation is ongoing.
