The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested 20-year-old Willie Ontonio Sparks of Macon in connection with an armed robbery Thursday at Lucky Food Mart.
UPDATE (10:45 p.m.): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested 20-year-old Willie Ontonio Sparks of Macon in connection with an armed robbery Thursday at Lucky Food Mart.
According to a news release, Sparks was taken into custody near the 3300 block of Finneydale Drive.
He’s charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and kidnapping.
ORIGINAL STORY (4:05 p.m.):
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies are investigating a robbery that happened just before 1:30 Thursday afternoon in east Macon.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, a suspect, identified only as a male, approached the store clerk at Lucky Food Mart at 3390 Jeffersonville Road, showed a gun and demanded money. He ran after getting cash.
The suspect was wearing all dark clothing, a black puffer jacket, blank pants, a black and white skull ski mask and blue gloves.
