UPDATE (2/7/25): Jail records show Shamecia Kine is charged with aggravated assault, hit-and-run and giving false name, address or birth date.
UPDATE (9:30 p.m.) – Deputies made an arrest just after 7 p.m. after an investigation following shots fired near Jim Shaw’s Seafood on Vineville Avenue.
According to the sheriff’s office, 36-year-old Shamecia Litreal Kine was taken into custody.
No further details were provided.

ORIGINAL STORY (6:39 p.m.):
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies are investigating after shots were fired Thursday near Jim Shaw’s Seafood on Vineville Avenue.
“I can confirm there was a shooting this evening reported at 5:25 p.m. this evening,” Sgt. Christopher Williams wrote in response to our inquiry. “There are no injuries due to the shoots [sic] fired.”
In response to a follow-up inquiry, Williams said the shots were not fired inside the restaurant.
As of 7 p.m., the scene was clear and the restaurant was open for business with a full parking lot.
