UPDATE: 3 adults being questioned about infant’s death

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)  – Bibb County Sheriff Deputies found a 5-month-old boy dead inside a Macon home Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to a call about an unresponsive child around 6:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of Bishop Road.

Witnesses told deputies that the mother’s boyfriend found the infant unresponsive. Officers found the child in a room by himself near a space heater. Authorities pronounced the child dead at he scene.

The child’s mother, 28-year-old Jalicia Kent of Macon, her 30-year-old boyfriend, Quantious Hodges of Macon, and Hodges’ brother were questioned.

Deputies say Quantious Hodges is not the child’s father.
