The Bibb County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of Clifford Tyrone Browner.

UPDATE (1/19/24): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of Clifford Tyrone Browner.
A sheriff’s office news release says 24-year-old Dequavia Pollard and 25-year-old Amore Calhoun were taken into custody Friday. Both are being held without bond in the Bibb County Jail.
Pollard is charged with murder and criminal street gang activity. Also Friday, deputies said they connected Pollard with the August 2023 shooting death of Calvin Thomas Hugley Jr.
Calhoun is charged with murder and criminal street gang activity in Browner’s death.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man died after being shot early Sunday morning.
It happened just after 3:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Triple Hill Drive, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Deputies say they arrived and found 42-year-old Clifford Tyrone Browner with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent for treatment before being pronounced dead at 4:18.
The shooting is under investigation.
