UGA freshman DeVondre Seymour ends football career
ATHENS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – UGA offensive lineman DeVondre Seymour has decided to end his football career.
Coach Mark Richt made the announcement Thursday.
“I met with DeVondre and he feels strongly that football is not what he wants to do,” Richt said in a releas by the school. “We do wish him well in whatever career he chooses to pursue.”
Seymour, the son of former Georgia All-American and NFL All-Pro Richard Seymour, played high school football at North Gwinnett before playing at Hinds Community College in Mississippi.
