Two teens arrested for breaking into cars in Macon-Bibb

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two teens for breaking into cars early Wednesday morning.

Deputies received a call about three young men opening cars up and trying to take items at Hidden Lake Apartments at 180 Hidden Lake Court.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says when deputies looked for the teens, they stopped two of them on bicycles on Burton Avenue near Mercer University Drive.

One of them lied about who he was, but later gave his correct name.

Both had items that had been stolen from the cars.

One suspect is 16 years old, so his name was not released.

The other is 17-year-old Arvydas O’Neill.

The 16-year-old was charged with entering auto.

He was processed and released to his parents.

O’Neill faces charges of entering auto and willful obstruction.

He went to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center with a bond of $10,925.

The sheriff’s office is trying to find out who the third man is.

They broke into nine cars that were left unlocked.
