Two qualify for open Crawford commission seat

ROBERTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people have qualified for the open District 3 Crawford County commission seat left behind after former chair Dean Fripp died last year. 

30-year-old Justin Spillers and 69-year-old Roy Shepard turned in paperwork on Wednesday for the position. 

Spillers is an architect and a project manager. Shepard is retired. 

Qualifying for the Crawford County commission seat ends Friday at noon. A special election is scheduled for March 17th.
