Two people in critical condition after overnight shooting in Macon
A male and female are in critical condition after both were shot early Saturday.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people are in critical condition after both were shot early Saturday.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a female with a gunshot wound drove herself to Atrium Health Navicent just after 1 a.m. About half an hour later, deputies responded to the intersection of Monroe Street and Lincoln Street, where they found a male with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.
“After further investigation, it was determined that the earlier incident that the Atrium police reported in reference to a female, suffering from a gunshot wound is also related to the Monroe Avenue incident,” a news release said. “Investigators are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
