Twiggs and Bleckley County Sheriff’s Offices investigating burglaries

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office and the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office are looking for suspects who burglarized gas station convenience stores Thursday morning.

Bleckley investigators say thieves took tobacco products from the Chevron on Hwy 112 and I-16 around 4 a.m. Thursday. No one was in the store at the time of the burglary.

Captain Chip Stokes with the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office says he thinks the same two people stole cigarettes and money from the Marathon on Hwy 96 around 4:30 a.m. Thursday. No one was in the store at the time of the burglary. He says the suspects were driving a silver Dodge Dakota pickup truck.
