There’s been plenty of heat and sun to get the new work week started. A cold front arriving later this evening may bring a stray shower or two, however most of the region will not see any rain. Overnight temperatures will still be above average however drops of close to 10 degrees are likely when compared to last night. Most locations will valley in the lower 50s. The wind will shift to the northeast and pick-up leading into the start of Tuesday.

Tomorrow

A partly to mostly cloudy day is expected Tuesday with temperatures climbing into the upper 60s and lower 70s. A couple of stray showers will be possible but most of Middle Georgia will not see rain. The wind will be breezy from the east-northeast at 7-15 mph with gusts pushing as high as 25 mph.

Overnight will be mostly cloudy and this is when shower odds will climb a bit more, however less than a third of the region should see them. Low temperatures will be even cooler with many spots dropping below 50 degrees, or pretty close to the average for late March.

Pollen

Tree pollen levels are basically as high as they’ve been at any point so far this spring with grass pollen levels now climbing as well. While conditions will remain nice for the Cherry Blossom Festival those who suffer from seasonal allergies should consider medicating.
