  • All times Eastern
  • Rankings reflect latest AP poll

Auburn (3-2, 0-2 SEC) @ Kentucky (4-1, 2-1 SEC)

Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m. ESPN
Both the Tigers and Wildcats have needed overtime this season to pick up wins against FCS teams.

Smh:

Auburn 30, Kentucky 26

Actual Score: Auburn 30, Kentucky 27 (WIN)

Pittsburgh (4-1, 2-0 ACC) @ Georgia Tech (2-4, 0-3 ACC)
Saturday, October 17 at 12:30 p.m. FOX SPORTS SOUTH
The Yellow Jackets are on a four-game losing streak for the first time in 19 years.

They’ll bounce back in a big way against Pittsburgh, which I don’t think is as good as its record shows:

Georgia Tech 34, Pittsburgh 17

Actual Score: Pittsburgh 31, Georgia Tech 28 (LOSS)

No. 10 Alabama (5-1, 2-1 SEC) @ No. 9 Texas A&M (5-0, 2-0 SEC)
Saturday, October 17 at 3:30 p.m. CBS
I still can’t get over Alabama winning this game 59-0 last season.

The Tide’s offense has been inconsistent, but Saban over Sumlin still seems like the safe pick:

Alabama 28, Texas A&M 24

Actual Score: Alabama 41, Texas A&M 23 (WIN)

No. 7 Michigan State (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) @ No. 12 Michigan (5-1, 2-0 Big Ten)
Saturday, October 17 at 3:30 p.m. ESPN
You normally won’t find B1G games here, but I couldn’t pass up this one.

Michigan gives up its first points since September 19 but still beats its in-state rival:

Michigan 21, Michigan State 17

Actual Score: Michigan State 27, Michigan 23 (LOSS)

East Tennessee State (0-5) @ Mercer (2-3, 0-2 SoCon)
Saturday, October 17 at 4 p.m. ESPN3
After losing their last three games by a combined 11 points, the Bears should pick up a win this week.

East Tennessee State restarted its program this season after a 12-year break.

The winless Bucs are losing their games by an average of four touchdowns:

Mercer 52, East Tennessee State 10

Actual Score: Mercer 52, East Tennessee State 0 (WIN)

Florida Tech (3-3, 2-1 Gulf South) @ Fort Valley State (4-2, 4-0 SIAC)
Saturday, October 17 at 6 p.m.
On Senior Day in the Valley, the Wildcats will host the Panthers.

This team beat Delta State a few weeks ago.

The Statesmen beat FVSU 48-7 to open the season:

Florida Tech 45, Fort Valley State 10

Actual Score: Florida Tech 34, Fort Valley State 7 (WIN)

No. 8 Florida (6-0, 4-0 SEC) @ No. 6 LSU (5-0, 3-0 SEC)
Saturday, October 17 at 7 p.m. ESPN
Florida lost its starting quarterback, but I don’t think it really matters.

A night game at Tiger Stadium will be too much for the better-than-expected Gators:

LSU 20, Florida 13

Actual Score: LSU 35, Florida 28 (WIN)

USC (3-2, 1-2 Pac-12) @ No. 14 Notre Dame (5-1)
Saturday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. NBC
If you haven’t heard, Steve Sarkisian has a drinking problem.

With all the stories circulating about the former head coach, it seems like the Trojans may be better off without him:

Notre Dame 31, USC 30

Actual Score: Notre Dame 41, USC 31 (WIN)

Missouri (4-2, 1-2 SEC) @ Georgia (4-2, 2-2 SEC)
Saturday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m. SEC NETWORK
Oh, Georgia.

The Dawgs lost Nick Chubb but still managed to build a 24-3 lead at Tennessee.

They unbelievably lost that game, but they’ll beat Mizzou:

Georgia 27, Missouri 10

Actual Score: Georgia 9, Missouri 6 (WIN)
