- Record this season: 24-9
No. 20 Georgia Tech (2-1) @ Duke (2-1)
Saturday, September 26 at 12 p.m. ESPN2
Georgia Tech’s first road game didn’t go so well.
The entire team rushed for just 18 yards more than Notre Dame’s starting tailback, C.J. Procise.
Paul Johnson called his team’s performance “horrible.” The Jackets better improve before another road trip.
Don’t forget about Duke pulling off the upset last year:
Georgia Tech 28, Duke 21
Actual Score: Duke 34, Georgia Tech 20 (LOSS)
No. 8 LSU (2-0, 2-0 SEC) @ Syracuse (3-0, 1-0 ACC)
Saturday, September 26 at 12 p.m. ESPN
The Tigers had their way with Auburn last week in Death Valley, riding Leonard Fournette to a 45-21 win.
It’d be easy to pick another blowout this week, but this is a weird situation for LSU.
It’s a long road trip for the Tigers. Plus, it’s an 11 a.m. (Louisiana time) kickoff:
LSU 27, Syracuse 17
Actual Score: LSU 34, Syracuse 24 (WIN)
Southern (2-1, 2-0 SWAC) @ No. 7 Georgia (3-0, 2-0 SEC)

Mark Richt said this week he’ll start thinking about how to beat Alabama after Saturday’s game.
It’s a sign of respect for this week’s opponent, which has scored 50 points in its last two games.
We’ll see if his players are thinking about the Jaguars or the Tide:
Georgia 59, Southern 10
Actual Score: Georgia 48, Southern 6 (WIN)
Tennessee (2-1) @ Florida (2-1, 1-0 SEC)
Saturday, September 26 at 3:30 p.m. CBS *SEC NATION
Last year, Florida used a fourth quarter comeback in Neyland Stadium to win 10-9 and extend its win streak over Tennessee to 10.
Yes, 10.
I struggled with this game more than any other but chose the Gators simply because of home-field advantage:
Florida 20, Tennessee 14
Actual Score: Florida 28, Tennessee 27 (WIN)
ULM (1-1) @ No. 12 Alabama (2-1, 0-1 SEC)
Saturday, September 26 at 4 p.m. SEC NETWORK
It felt weird typing a 1 and a 2 for Alabama’s ranking.
This is the Crimson Tide’s first game against the Warhawks since 2007.
Remember that?
Alabama 42, ULM 14
Actual Score: Alabama 34, ULM 0 (WIN)
Benedict (0-3) @ Fort Valley State (2-1, 2-0 SIAC)
Saturday, September 26 at 6 p.m.
The Wildcats are off to an undefeated start in conference play.
The Tigers have scored just six points through three games:
Fort Valley State 34, Benedict 12
Actual Score: Fort Valley State 33, Benedict 3 (WIN)
No. 14 Texas A&M (3-0) @ Arkansas (1-2)
Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m. ESPN
Arkansas, a dark horse preseason pick to win the SEC West, has lost to Toledo and Texas Tech in back-to-back weeks.
The Hogs haven’t played an SEC game yet, so technically they still have a shot at the title.
Those hopes will be dashed Saturday, but “it’ll be closer than the experts think”:
Texas A&M 34, Arkansas 31
Actual Score: Texas A&M 28, Arkansas 21 – OT (WIN)
Vanderbilt (1-2, 0-1 SEC) @ No. 3 Ole Miss (3-0, 1-0 SEC)
Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m. ESPNU
Ole Miss proved it’s the real deal against Alabama.
The Rebels’ defense will have a field day against the Commodores:
Ole Miss 42, Vanderbilt 7
Actual Score: Ole Miss 27, Vanderbilt 16 (WIN)
Mississippi State (2-1, 0-1 SEC) @ Auburn (2-1, 0-1 SEC)
Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m. ESPN2
It finally happened.
After three awful performances, Jeremy Johnson was replaced at quarterback by Sean White.
It can’t get any worse, right?
Mississippi State 35, Auburn 31
Actual Score: Mississippi State 17, Auburn 9 (WIN)
Missouri (3-0) @ Kentucky (2-1, 1-1 SEC)
Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m. SEC NETWORK
Kentucky came oh-so-close to beating Florida last week for the first time in almost three decades.
The Wildcats had so many chances to snap the streak but couldn’t capitalize when they needed to most.
Missouri hasn’t looked great to start the season, but the Tigers usually find a way to win:
Missouri 21, Kentucky 14
Actual Score: Kentucky 21, Missouri 13 (LOSS)
No. 9 UCLA (3-0) @ No. 16 Arizona (3-0)
Saturday, September 26 at 8 p.m. ABC *ESPN College GameDay
It’s the conference opener for both these PAC-12 squads.
The winner here will likely end up in the conference title game:
UCLA 21, Arizona 20
Actual Score: UCLA 56, Arizona 30 (WIN)
Georgia Southern (2-1) @ Idaho (1-2)
Saturday, September 26 at 9 p.m. ESPN3
The Eagles are hoping for their ninth straight win in the Sun Belt as they open conference play in the Gem State.
Kevin Ellison and Co. roll in the Kibbie Dome:
Georgia Southern 45, Idaho 21
Actual Score: Georgia Southern 44, Idaho 20 (WIN)
