Truck Accident in Bibb County Leaves Gallons of Fuel On Highway

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A tractor trailer accident in Bibb County left 80 gallons of fuel spilled across a highway.

Officials with the Bibb County sheriff’s office say the driver of the truck lost control after one of his front tires blew out, over a bridge at the highway 241 and highway 11 interchange.

Crews were on the scene cleaning up the spill and assessing damage to the bridge.

No one was injured in the accident.
