Trial date rescheduled for lawsuit against Gordon mayor

According to Wilkinson County Superior Court documents, a bench trial is set for August 1^st at 9 a.m. The previous court date was July 25^th.

Last month, Gordon Mayor Mary Ann Whipple Lue’s defense team filed two motions to dismiss the case. Judge Reeves denied those motions during a hearing on May 8^th.

The judge wrote if the trial does not finish that day, it will wrap up on August 8^th.
