Tractor trailer involved in hit and run accident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the driver of a tractor trailer that was involved in an accident Thursday night.  Reports say that around 9PM, 22-year-old Casey Daniely was driving south on I-475 when he was struck by a tractor trailer with a red cab and white trailer. Daniely lost control of his vehicle before coming to a stop in the woods near the highway. The driver of the truck fled the scene.

Daniely and his two passengers, 33-year-old Daryl Burroughs and 25-year-old Aarion Palmer, were injured in the collision. Daniely and Burroughs were transported to Navicent Health by ambulance. Palmer declined medical assistance at the scene but was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle.  Daniely is listed in critical but stable condition. Burroughs and Palmer are both listed in stable condition.
