Three people arrested for Milledgeville robbery, aggravated assault
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Milledgeville Police Department arrested three people wanted for robbery and aggravated assault.
According to Major Reggie Hill, the victim, Leeon Xie, was robbed while visiting a friend at the College State Apartments Wednesday.
Hill says the suspects are 20-year-old Daniel Nguyan of Doraville, GA, 20-year-old Kristian Rigopoulos of Duluth, GA, and 18-year-old Troy Lewis Jr. of Alexandria, VA. Investigators say the incident may have happened during a drug deal.
Police executed a search warrant at Xie’s apartment and found contraband inside.
Xie was injured during the incident and was sent to the hospital with a head injury.
Nguyan, Rigopoulos, and Lewis are charged with robbery and aggravated assault. Hill says he expects more charges will be filed in the near future.
