Thieves make off with cash after robbing Family Dollar

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Saturday night, around 9:00pm, the Family Dollar on 160 Emery Highway was robbed.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies say three males entered the business, with one of the suspects brandishing a silver gun.

One of the suspects ordered an employee to the cash registers, demanding the money from the registers.

The second suspect was a look out.

The third suspect ordered another employee to hand over the store’s keys.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the business, the suspects fled on foot.

The first suspect was wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt and black bandana covering the lower part of his face.

The second suspect was wearing all black and a black bandana covering the lower part of his face.

The third suspect was wearing a red and black windbreaker, and a red bandana covering the lower part of his face.

No one was injured during the incident.
