Museum of Aviation adds historic aircraft to collection
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Museum of Aviation is working on restoring a historic aircraft.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II is a light attack aircraft that will take about a year to restore.
The plane was often deployed on aircraft carriers during the Vietnam War.
Curator Arthur Sullivan says they’re excited to see the final results of the restoration process.
“Our mission here is to preserve Air Force heritage,” he said.
