Temperatures return to average Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WGMT) – Temperatures will be back around if not slightly above averages for this time of year following a cool and wet weekend.
This Evening
Scattered clouds over Middle Georgia will slowly clear out as the day goes on. Winds will generally flow from the east-southeast tonight at around 5 mph. Expect low temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Tomorrow
It will be a mostly sunny day around Middle Georgia with highs reaching into the mid to upper 80s around the region. Winds will come from the southeast at around 5-10 mph. Expect scattered cumulus clouds during the heat of the afternoon.
Clouds will clear heading into the evening as mostly clear skies stay with Middle Georgia into Wednesday morning. Low temperatures will be in the lower 60s with ambient wind coming from the south-southeast at around 5 mph.
Later this Week
Temperatures will keep on climbing leading up to Memorial Day Weekend as partly cloudy conditions hang around each afternoon. Isolated storm odds will ramp up towards the weekend, leading to more humidity in the region.
