A sunny day across Middle Georgia was warmer than expected as many locations climbed above 70 degrees. This increases confidence that temperatures could reach into the 80s by this coming weekend. Overnight will be cool but nowhere will get anywhere close to freezing. Most low temperatures should be above 40 degrees. Wind will be light from the west-northwest through the night. Overhead skies will be mostly clear with a few cirrus clouds passing overhead.

Tomorrow

Sunshine will continue Thursday as temperatures push into the 70s again across the region. Some spots may reach into the upper 70s, however winds from the northwest will work to limit warming from Wednesday to Thursday.

Overnight will have a few more overhead clouds however things should lean more towards clear than cloudy. Lows will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s accompanied by light north-northwest winds.

Friday and Beyond

Highs will reach into the mid to upper 70s Friday with the possibility a couple locations reach 80 degrees. Wind will be light and variable throughout the afternoon. Expect that wind to be out of the southwest through the weekend as highs will push closer to that 80 degree mark. Rain odds will stay down into next week.
