Temperatures continue to soar Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Highs will reach the upper 80s and lower 90s around Middle Georgia Thursday afternoon.
The Rest of the Evening
It will remain rather warm around Middle Georgia as temperatures remain in the 80s until after 8 pm and the 70s until almost midnight. Cloud cover will be scarce as winds remain light and variable through the night. Low temperatures will mainly be in the lower 60s to begin Thursday.
Tomorrow
It will be partly cloudy and hot Thursday as highs reach the upper 80s and lower 90s around the region. Winds will be light out of the south-southeast throughout the day. Rain odds will be low most of the day, however in the evening a shower/thunderstorm or two will be possible.
Overnight those rain odds will remain low but possible as more clouds begin to move in. Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s heading into Friday morning as winds remain out of the south-southeast.
Friday and Beyond
Friday will be a bit cooler as cloud cover becomes more dominant and rain odds escalate, especially late. Winds will remain out of the south at around 5 mph. Saturday will be cooler as rain odds climb a bit more, however Sunday will see highs return to the mid to upper 80s as more sunshine gets through.
